"Reaching Neighborhoods and Nations"

A Message from Pastor Dan:

What were you and I created for? Not just living, not just existing, we are here to make a difference. If you are like me you may think if I can buy, do, or get this or that then I will be fulfilled and that will make a difference in me. Wrong. Jesus said if we lose our lives then we will get them back, (Matthew 10:39).

Why would He say such a thing? He was telling us that we were made for something bigger than ourselves, bigger than our ideas and yes, bigger than our needs and wants. He was telling us that surrendering to Him and giving ourselves to others is what would actually fulfill our deepest desires. That is why touching others is such a vital part of Water of Life's ministry.

Why We Serve:

WOL Local Outreach exists to reach out to those in need by investing our lives into theirs.  God loves people and has called His church to go meet people, where they’re at to love them no matter what.  Sometimes that means packing boxes of food to feed the homeless and hungry.  Other times that means rolling up your sleeves, getting dirty and physically transforming our community.  We take God’s command to serve the poor seriously, and we seek to learn from those who have less.

ADOPT-A-BLOCK:

Adopt-a-Block i has a simple mission: to build relationships with the people living on their blocks in Fontana and meeting people where they are both physically and spiritually. We literally, "adopt" a city block, bringing practical, long-term assistance into a neighborhood. Whether it's fixing a child's bike, donating a sack of groceries or leading a Bible study, Adopt-a-block brings God's love to the streets of our community.

Join us on the fourth Saturday morning of each month along with Metro-Kidz, Mobile Medical Unit and Mr. View community Church to love people by providing free medical care, food, kids games, prizes, and groceries. We are impacting our city for Jesus!
