MINISTRY PARTNER INFORMATION:
Water of Life sends 10-15 teams to Mexico each year to serve at the Agua De Vida Orphanage located in Ciudad Morelos, 25 minutes south of Yuma, Arizona. Agua de Vida Orphanage is a safe, secure and loving home for 35+ orphans who have sought refuge due to less fortunate circumstances. Mario and Veronica Santos are the host parents at the orphanage and their mission is to provide an atmosphere that builds a child’s faith in God and grows them in Godly character. Water of Life teams serve the orphanage by performing children's activities and ministries that include Bible stories, dramas and games. Teams may also help with ongoing construction or work projects to support on-site staff. We often assist in the surrounding neighborhoods with relief projects, evangelism and community outreaches. Mario and Veronica also pastor a church on the property and many teams stay to help run various parts of their service on Sunday.
Water of Life’s Mexico teams are also a fun and safe way for your family to serve and grow together. Mexico teams provide an opportunity to teach your children about serving others, being selfless and help them to develop a heart for outreach at a young age.
Serving in Mexico is an excellent first step if you have never been out of the country for reasons other than vacation or business. It can help make taking the step to serving on an overseas team a little easier and open your heart and eyes to how others live. It is helpful to experience a different culture, to gain new experiences and to live in conditions unlike your own home before serving on a longer Global Outreach trip. Mexico trips also cost less and are a shorter time commitment which makes going on a Mexico team a great first step towards serving overseas.

INDIVIDUAL MINISTRY TRIPS
Many ministries at Water of Life also partner with Global Outreach to send a team from their ministry to Agua de Vida Orphanage. Each ministry group works with the Global Outreach Department to coordinate their trip and plan what type of ministry their team will do. A few of the ministries that serve regularly in Mexico are Pure, Activate and Positively Engaging.
