Kenya
MINISTRY PARTNER INFORMATION:
Join us in Kenya as our teams partner with several ministries all over Kenya, three of which include:
Joysprings Ministries: This school serves the residents of the Kibera Slum located in Nairobi. Kibera Slum is the largest slum on the continent of Africa with over 2 million people living in settlements within this slum, most of whom lack basic human needs. Pastor Charles and Rose are the Founders and Directors of this ministry. Joysprings Educational Centre provides primary education to the children of Kibera and also meets the spiritual needs through Joysprings church. Our teams teach Bible stories and play games with the school children as well as praying over the teachers and staff at the school. We also partner to equip church leaders and members through various conferences.
Empowering Lives International (ELI): ELI is making a huge difference among the needy and spiritually lost in Western Kenya. They have established two training centers in the villages of Illula and Kipkaren. At each training center, ELI trains locals through a sustainable agriculture program, runs an orphanage, operates a Christian school and offers a program to help recovering alcoholics. Their objective is to empower the lives of people in Kenya spiritually and practically. Our teams partner with ELI to lead women's conferences, youth and teen outreaches and various construction ministry projects.
Cornerstone Faith Assembly: This ministry has planted churches all over Kenya since 1998 under the leadership of Dr. Francis Kamau, Senior Pastor and presiding Bishop of over 60 churches and ministries. His ministries operate a kindergarten in the Nguirubi Valley of Kenya where a church has also been established. Our teams will partner to practically and spiritually touch the residents of the communities where Cornerstone Faith Assembly is working.
