Cambodia
Water of Life teams partner with New Life Fellowship Church and the University of Nations in Cambodia. Serving with New Life Fellowship in Phnom Penh, our teams help train Cambodian Bible study leaders, visit villages in the area, and do relief and development work. Teams serve alongside New Life staff to perform medical outreaches, ministry to Children-at-Risk, and street children living in the slums.
We also work with the University of Nations in Siem Reap. University of Nations is Cambodia's English Center that is serving students by teaching English and job training skills. Our teams help teach English language classes to preschool through high school students. We also assist with teaching computers, fine arts, Bible, worship, and job skills to the rest of their student population.
LIVE THE CALL IN CAMBODIA
CAMBODIA TEAM 1: June 28 – July 7: (CLOSED) This family friendly trip focuses on ministry with New Live Fellowship Church.
CAMBODIA TEAM 2: July 8 – July 21: (CLOSED) This family friendly trip teams up with PURE, the young adult's ministry, and focuses on ministry with New Live Fellowship Church.
CAMBODIA/THAILAND TEAM: Sept. 1 – Sept. 16: This trip allows you to experience a variety of ministry in both Cambodia and Thailand. This is a difficult level trip and is not recommended for children. Half of the trip will take place in Cambodia while the other half will be in Thailand. The team may participate in some trekking in Thailand. As a result, we require the team to prepare physically for the trip.
HOW DO I ANSWER THE CALL?
- Download and fill out the Short-Term Missions Application OR the Mexico Application depending on what Outreach Trip you would like to participate on.
- Turn in your completed application in an envelope marked ATTN: Aimee McDivett to the Water of Life church office
- Turn in your $300 deposit in an envelope marked ATTN: Aimee McDivett to the Water of Life church office (the deposit is not required for those going to Mexico).
- Checks should be addressed to Water of Life
- IF you are depositing CASH please put the cash in a separate envelope from your application and deposit the envelope into the tithe box in the lobby of the church office. Make sure to write your first and last name on the envelope as well as “GLOBAL OUTREACH DEPOSIT” and the name of the team that you are applying for.
- Apply for a passport as soon as possible on the U.S. State Department Website. For all Global Outreach Trips, including Mexico, a Passport is required. To find a U.S. Government location where you can turn in your application please visit this website Passport Location Website
- If you currently have a passport check the expiration date - passports must be valid for 6 months when one enters the country.
