What is our motivation?

At WOL we believe the church exists to serve more than itself.  Jesus called His church to GO!  Why do we go?  We go to serve the widows, the orphans, the sick, the homeless and the hungry.  Sometimes that means going down the street and around the corner.  Other times, that means jumping a plane for 20 hours to spend two weeks serving and loving the people of Thailand, Cambodia, and Africa.  When we reach OUT it is always in His name in order to share His hope and His love.


Want to know what makes WOL Outreach happen? Servants.
Hundreds and throughout the year thousands of them, doing everything from packing boxes of food @ “The House” to leading our Global Outreach trips.  It’s all important and it’s all done by average WOL people…And yes, we need you!!!

Whether you want to make some connections or simply want to get involved in the great stuff happening around here, there’s a serving role just for you.  The opportunities are endless, and it’s not a lifetime commitment. Try it out and see how it fits.  Who knows?  You might even have some fun.
