DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

This is a group designed especially to help children age 6-12 to heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents.
At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.
The 13-week class follows a video-based, non-denominational curriculum that features biblical teaching; combining games, crafts, snacks, activities and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted.
Class fee: $20 p/child (covers workbooks and activity expenses – some scholarships available)
Although the dates and times correspond with the adult DivorceCare Group, and we recommend that the parent attend that class as well; it is not a requirement in order for their children to participate in DC4K, nor do you have to be an attendee of Water of Life Community Church.
